Systra, founded in 1995 through the merger of the engineering subsidiaries of SNCF (Sofrerail) and RATP (Sofretu), is today a global player in the transportation sector. With over 10,700 employees in 80 countries, the company offers a wide range of services: planning, consulting, design studies, project supervision, digital engineering and construction management. Systra is particularly active in the rail and urban transport segments, as well as in complex infrastructure projects such as stations and tunnels.

The company has been involved in emblematic projects such as Dubai's automatic metro, the Grand Paris Express, the High Speed 2 project in the UK, and the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge in Canada. The company is distinguished through its involvement in almost half of the world's metro lines, from Sydney to Mumbai.

NiXEN has chosen to participate in this transaction as a co-investor alongside Latour Capital, in order to support the management team in the next stages of the company's development, notably geographical deployment and the expansion of its range of services.
