NiXEN disposes of its shares in Asteelflash, the EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) provider
NiXEN has withdrawn from the capital of Asteelflash, as the company’s management team, led by Gilles Benhamou, reorganises its capital.
Founded in 1999, Asteelflash has 23 production sites based on four continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and North America) with a workforce of over 5,000 and, generating over €600 M of revenue, is positioned as the second-ranking European player in EMS.
NiXEN became involved with Asteelflash as leading financial investor in 2005, and actively accompanied the group in its development via both organic and external growth.
During this time, from 2005-2013, the group, which already had operations in France and Tunisia, achieved annual revenue growth of over 15% and undertook structuring acquisitions that enabled strong international development:
- in 2008, the American group Flash Electronics based on the West Coast of the United States and in China;
- in 2008, the British company MRP;
- in 2012, the American group Catalyst Manufacturing Services based on the East Coast of the United States and in Mexico; and
- in 2012, the German group EN ElectronicNetwork based in Germany and Eastern Europe.
